Arcade Shooter | Personal Project | 2025
The prototype of the game works only on desktop devices.
Kolor Dash was a project between me and a friend. We wanted to create something together, and the idea for Kolor Dash came up during a walk. The main concept was to make an arcade-style shooter where the player could shoot and dash. With every dash, the player changes color. Enemies are assigned a random color, and if the player and an enemy share the same color, they don’t take or deal any damage.
I was in charge of the art and decided to go with a minimal, geometric style. I felt that clear shapes were important for this type of game. I started exploring different approaches for the UI and character design.

In our prototype, we only implemented two enemies: a simple enemy and a shooting enemy. However, we had ideas for a wider range of enemies and defined the rules they would follow. This planning helped us imagine more variety in gameplay and how different enemies could challenge the player in unique ways.
We wanted the game to feel as polished and engaging as possible, so I invested time in creating both animations and sounds. I designed death, spawn, and shooting animations to give each action clear feedback and make the gameplay feel more responsive. Later, I added audio directly in the engine, which further enhanced the player’s sense of impact and timing.
